Jennifer Guidry

Jennifer Guidry M.Ed. - Principal

I am a proud Georgetown native who attended Tippit Middle School and graduated from Georgetown High School before pursuing my calling in education. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Wayland Baptist University in 2005 and my Master of Education in Educational Administration from Concordia University in 2011. I also hold multiple Texas certifications, including Principal, Special Education, Physical Education, and ESL, with my Superintendent Certification currently pending.

I have spent my entire career in Georgetown ISD, serving as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal. Currently, I am the principal at Tippit Middle School, where I have had the privilege of working with an incredible staff and community. During my time at Tippit, our campus has been recognized as a Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase School for three consecutive years. Prior to this role, I served as principal at McCoy Elementary and as assistant principal at Forbes Middle School. Earlier in my career, I worked as a classroom teacher and special education resource teacher, experiences that continue to shape my leadership today.

With nearly two decades in education, I am passionate about creating systems that help students and staff thrive while building strong, meaningful relationships across the school community. I have also been honored to serve on several district-level committees, including the Teaching and Learning Council, the Curriculum and Advisory Council, and the Discipline/Behavior Focus Group.

Above all, I am proud to call Georgetown my home. My husband and I are raising our two children here, both of whom are students at Tippit Middle School. Leading in the same schools and community that shaped me is one of my greatest joys and privileges.
