Melissa Rogers

Melissa Rogers is entering her third year as Assistant Principal at Tippit Middle School. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University and a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership from Lamar University.

Before becoming an administrator, Mrs. Rogers spent 15 years in the classroom, serving as an elementary teacher, middle school language arts teacher, reading interventionist, and dyslexia teacher. Prior to joining Tippit, she served as an Assistant Principal at McCoy Elementary and Round Rock High School.

Now entering her 23rd year in education, Mrs. Rogers is thrilled to continue serving the Tippit community. She is passionate about supporting middle school students as they navigate these important and transformative years. She values the energy, spirit, and strong sense of community that make Tippit such a special place and looks forward to partnering with families to ensure a safe, successful, and memorable school year for all students.
